Dutchman Louis van Gaal, who turns 64 on August 8, has confirmed that he may leave Manchester United, the biggest club in the world, at the end of his three-year contract. He felt sad about the fact that he couldn’t win the Premier League title before hanging his shoes. He believed the club should sign up a superstar so as to accomplish his goal of winning the Premier League before he leaves the club.
Van Gaal, known as an outstanding manager, has succeeded the top position of European football for over 20 years. He has won many domestic titles and cups for countries like Holland and Germany. He cited a personal reason for his quitting from the three-year deal upon his arrival at Old Trafford from the position of the manager, so that he can be with his wife. He has also expressed his interest in other things apart from football and has refuted the intention of extension of his stay.
