ABS Launches Eagle UnifiedTM: Cutting-Edge Structural Design Verification Software

Features and Capabilities

Eagle UnifiedTM is designed to streamline vessel applications and provide a superior user experience. It offers support for multiple vessel types, with containership and LNGC capabilities available at launch. Future releases will include capabilities for LPG, ammonia, hydrogen, and CO2 carriers.

Enhanced Client Portal

In addition to Eagle UnifiedTM, ABS recently launched an enhanced ABS MyFreedom™ Client Portal. This portal features a modern, responsive interface and is built on a product life cycle management backbone. It is designed to manage data-heavy engineering tools and support collaboration, search capabilities, automated reports, and comprehensive life-cycle management.

Digital Twin System

The upgraded platform is aimed at managing next-generation engineering tools, including 3D plans, integrated computer-aided engineering models, simulations, streaming data, and other digital assets. It provides a fully scalable digital twin system for compliance and safety.

ABS Rule Enhancements Program

ABS delivered the ABS Rule Enhancements program in January 2024, which includes newly developed functional requirements and a standardized risk-based methodology. These enhancements facilitate the safe and rapid adoption of innovation and technology impacting next-generation vessel designs and equipment.
