Japan P&I Club Warns Of GPS Signal Jamming
The Japan P&I Club has issued a notice that the vessels entering the Korean Waters are being affected due to the Jamming of their GPS signals. Also it has stated that there have been no reports on significant accidents or damages.
The P&I Club said in its circular that: “Please be advised that North Korea is jamming GPS signals near the border with increased jamming activity observed in the recent days. As this can affect the Member’s vessels entering Korean waters/ports, it would be recommendable to warn the Members to be cautious when entering Korean waters near the border.”
