Local media has confirmed the news of a mishap involving gas pipeline blast at a ship-breaking yard in Chittagong district of Bangladesh.

The accident happened at around 9:30 am local time Tuesday when the workers were cutting iron sheets inside the yard. There was a burst in a gas cylinder that resulted in a big explosion. The injured workers were taken to the Chittagong Medical College and Hospital by their co-workers. A 30-year-old man succumbed to injuries while the other two workers were treated for serious burn injuries.
