China’s Mega Private Refiner ZPC Exports First Jet Fuel Cargo

China’s mega refiner Zhejiang Petrochemical Corp (ZPC), the country’s only private refiner with refined fuel export quotas, on Sunday loaded its first cargo of aviation fuel for export, the east China-based firm said on Tuesday.

First jet fuel cargo exports

ZPC, which previously exported diesel and gasoline, was among the recipients of China’s latest issue of fuel export quotas with an allotment of 1.67 million tonnes.

ZPC did not give further details.

The 40,000-tonne cargo, carried by vessel Di Matteo, was destined for Tanjung Bin port of Malaysia, a key oil storage hub for the region, according to Refinitiv’s Eikon shiptracking.
