Nantong CIMC Sinopacific, a CIMC Enric subsidiary, has achieved a major milestone in China’s LNG industry by delivering the largest B-type liquid cargo cabin to Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding, reports Port News.

This delivery marks a significant expansion of CIMC SOE’s product range in the low-temperature liquid cargo transport market, covering the full spectrum of ABC-type liquid cargo cabins.

Driving the growth of China’s LNG industry

The B-type cabins, with a capacity of approximately 6,950 m³ per tank, offer superior efficiency and flexibility compared to traditional C-type tanks. They will be integrated into a 14,000 m³ LNG shipping and refueling vessel, classified by CCS, capable of providing comprehensive LNG services for both river and sea routes.

CIMC SOE’s innovative modularized construction approach, combined with the dedication of its project team, enabled the timely delivery of this complex project. This achievement underscores CIMC SOE’s commitment to technological advancement and its role in driving the growth of China’s LNG industry.
