Could Binoculars Have Saved The Titanic?

The Titanic went down on a cold night on the Atlantic and along with it hundreds of people who had set to sail from a port in England to the United States.  Many theories have done rounds over the years on the possible cause of the disaster.

According to a latest report, the crew of Titanic went on the high seas without binoculars.  Binoculars might have helped the crew to view the impending danger and avert the disaster.  According to another theory, it was almost impossible to avert the disaster due to very poor weather conditions on the fateful night.
