The Cap Pierre (2004 – 159,048 dwt) and the Cap Leon (2004 – 159,048 dwt) were sold by Euronav NV (NYSE: EURN & Euronext: EURN) (“Euronav” or the “Company”) (2003 – 159,048 dwt). The total capital gain realised from these sales is USD 18.4 million. Both ships are free of debt. According to our knowledge, at least one of the ships will leave the worldwide fleet to work on storage contracts. The average age of our completely owned Suezmax fleet has decreased from 11.4 to 10.7 years as a result of these transactions.
