General cargo ship GLOBE 6 with cargo of rice ran aground at around 2330 UTC Aug 12 in Bulalacao Bay near Nagubat island, southern Mindoro, Philippines.
The ship was en route from Ho Chi Minh Vietnam to Davao, Philippines.
Remains aground
As of morning Aug 13, the ship was reported to remain aground.
