Cargo ship ran into embankment in Sehestedt area, Kiel Canal, at around 0300 UTC Nov 21, while transiting Canal in western direction, reports Maritime Bulletin.
Berthed for inspection
The ship was able to detach from embankment and continue transit under own power, she reached Brunsbuettel and was berthed in Canal, most probably for inspection and investigation, she’s said to be damaged.
