About the attack

Despite the statement issued on May 9, there have been no further confirmed attacks reported by military tracking operations or merchant ships in the region since intercepts on May 6 and 7 by U.S., Italian, and French warships.

However, both vessels registered in Panama, while they were in the Gulf of Aden. However, neither ship sustained damage, and they continued their journeys to Djibouti.

Another unconfirmed attack was reported on third vessel, also registered in Panama and en route to India. Nevertheless, there has been no independent verification of these claims.
