JOVO Group has signed the contract for the purchase and construction of LPG carriers, reports Xindemarinenews.
About the contract
According to an announcement from JOVO, the group’s overseas wholly-owned subsidiary Advancer Shipping signed a contract with China Shipbuilding Trading and Jiangnan Shipyard for the construction of 1 LPG carrier.
Under the contract, the new vessel will be a 93,000 m3 LPG carrier with a capacity of 57,750 metric tons. The total value is $78.88 million and will be delivered on January 15, 2024.
In addition, the amount of the transaction will be paid in installments.
Business scope
Advancer Shipping was established on May 7, 2021. Its business scope includes the operation and leasing of water transportation equipment such as transportation vessels for the energy industry.
