Due to the forecasted global demand reductions, Maersk is looking to balance the network accordingly.

Our primary focus remains to minimize the impact on our customers by ensuring minimal disruption to their supply chain by offering alternative routings and coverage for the affected vessel position, It is said in MAERSK.

Contingency plan as follows:

  • Sydney/ Melbourne imports will be connected with the next Dragon sailing ARIES /315S.
  • Brisbane imports will be carried to Hong Kong & connect with J Star GRASMERE MAERSK /314S.
  • All exports to GCA will be transferred to the next Dragon sailing ARIES /319N.
  • Melbourne exports to non-GCA areas will be transferred to the Greater Australia Connect service CMA CGM MELISANDE / 318N.
  • Brisbane & Sydney exports to non-GCA areas will be transferred to the Eastern Australia Connect service GSL CHRISTEL ELISABETH /320N.
