Vessels that were transferring fuel oil illegally were detained by the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) authorities. MMEA Tanjung Sedili enforcement chief Capt revealed that the patrolling officers spotted the vessels on Sunday morning 9.15 am.
The ship from Myanmar carrying five crew members was spotted transferring oil to Kuching registered ship, carrying eight crew members and Jakarta registered ship, carrying 8 Indonesians. All the three vessels were detained.
