An autopsy has been ordered to be performed on the body of a 40-year-old man who died onboard a cargo ship out in the Gulf of Paria last Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Anastacio Rocamora.  His identity could not be confirmed but the vessel is said to have originated from the Philippines.

According to the police, Rocamora, was securing cables several feet in the air on Friday afternoon while the vessel was out in the sea, when he allegedly removed his harness.  The man died instantly when he slipped and hit his head on the deck of the boat.
