Release of New THINK! Loss Prevention Safety Posters

A new collection of loss prevention posters have been added to the Club’s popular THINK! Series of Loss Prevention safety posters by West of England, leading mutual marine insurer.

  1. When working in a high noise environment, suitable ear defenders should be worn at all times
  2. Enclosed spaces can be dangerous.  A vessel’s enclosed space entry procedures should always be followed
  3. Take care when using fixed ladders.  Both hands should be kept free at all times and clean gloves and boots worn
  4. A vessel’s hot work procedures should always be followed by all crew and third party contractors

The club of Loss Prevention Department (LPD) of West of England has launched a new series of Loss Prevention posters and placards which can be displayed onboard vessels.  The focus of these four posters is to raise awareness for the common causes of shipboard accidents.
