Safety Advancements
Intellian’s GMDSS terminal, leveraging Iridium’s network, ensures seafarer safety with Maritime Safety Information, Distress Alert, and support for SSAS and LRIT. Planned for Q4 2024, it utilizes Iridium’s constellation for global coverage, including polar regions, offering reliable safety services in extreme weather at sea.
Enhanced features include Distress Alert Relay, Medical Assistance, and reporting capabilities. Leveraging Iridium’s unparalleled L-band connectivity across the globe, this development ensures reliable communications in even the most challenging conditions.
