The industry trade group and representative of international shipping, BIMCO has announced Greece as the leading operator of cargo shipping, as they have a third of a total deadweight capacity with the commercial shipping sector, reports The Greek Herald.
Success Of Greek Shipowners
They concluded these results by looking at the total amount of cargo fleet available, which led to 19 percent available making them rank higher. Greek shipowners control some of the world’s largest fleets, with strong maintenance of within tankers, and gas carriers.
