Three ice class vessels namely The Bumi Uray- Hull-383, Bumi- Pokachi- Hull 384 and Bumi Naryan-Mar- Hull 385 were successfully fitted with Transas T-Bridge integrated bridge systems for safer navigation, simpler bridge operating systems and a flexible bridge configuration. This also included external & internal communication systems and CCTV.
The inauguration and naming ceremony was held at the Keppel Singmarine’s shipyard in Singapore on September 10th, 2015. These vessels are slotted to operate in the Caspian Sea. All the three Ice class vessels were built for the Malaysian International oilfield services company -Bumi Armada Berhad, one of the leading operators and owners of OSVs in Asia.
