On October 23, a general container ship tore off moorings with 19 crew members due to the powerful Typhoon Lan that battered Japan in Toyama, Honshu, Japan sea in the early hours.
The container ship was stranded after being swept onto a harbor wall but all 19 crew members escaped injury.
The ship was reportedly berthed at Fushiki with 19 crew on board and ready to resume its voyage.
