Vroon Group has signed a letter of intent with Van Oord to sell MPI Offshore. Van Oord will take over the MPI organization in Stokesley, UK, along with the vessels and crew of the MPI Adventure and MPI Resolution with associated contracts. The transaction is subject to approval from competitive authorities with due diligence and is expected to be closed by the end of September 2018. With this acquisition Van Oord will further strengthen its Wind organization in the UK market.
