Kleven Verft has built and launched MV SS Nujoma at its shipyard in Ulsteinvik, Norway.

Highlights of the vessel:

• The MV SS Nujoma is the first-of-its-kind diamond sampling and exploration vessel.
• The vessel is built for Demarine Namibia, a 50/50 joint venture involved in marine diamond prospecting and mining.
• It is a 113 meter-long diesel-electric powered vessel with a displacement of 12,000 tonnes and will accommodate a crew of 80.
• Its Commissioning is scheduled in the first half of 2017.
