The “Mistral” suffered engine failure in the afternoon of July 20, 2017, in the English Canal, while en route from Constanta to Hamburg.

The vessel dropped anchor, and the tug “Lingestroom” was contracted to take the ship in tow to Hamburg. The towage commenced at 2 p.m. on July 21.
