Cargo Ships Collide, One Vessel Sinks

Cargo ships collided at around 0000 Beijing time (UTC +8) Jul 27, Taizhoum Zhejiang province, East China sea, reports Maritime Bulletin. 

What happened?

Cargo ships MV JIN SHUANG LONG 3 and JIN HONG 89 collided at around 0000 Beijing time (UTC +8) Jul 27. The collision happened some 6 nm north of Dachen island, Taizhoum Zhejiang province, East China sea. 

Ship sank

JIN HONG 89 sank immediately after the collision and reportedly capsized. 

Rescue operations

All 11 crew were rescued during SAR with deployment of SAR ship DONG HAI JIU 115. Cargo ship MV JIN SHUANG LONG 3 sustained serious damages.
