According to Sinopec News Network, the official news agency of the Guangdong-based Sinopec Guangzhou Petrochemical, the company on Wednesday (1 April) announced its first export of low sulphur fuel oil (LSFO) cargo, making it the first batch of LSFO to be exported in the Pearl River Delta region, says an article published in Manifold Times.
- In the same release, Sinopec Guangzhou stated on 25 March, 713 metric tonnes (mt) of LSFO produced by Sinopec Guangzhou passed through the export division of Huangpu Customs and was supplied to international vessels docked at Port of Guangzhou.
- Sinopec Guangzhou also noted that on 4 March, Huangpu Customs had already approved for the company to establish a ‘domestic export transformation supervision warehouse’ to increase efficiency in exporting LSFO.
