Global bunker fuel supply and procurement company TFG Marine, a joint venture between Trafigura and shipping firms Frontline and Golden Ocean, on Friday, said it is now offering bunker biofuel blends in the ARA region, says a news article published in Manifold Times.
ISCC certified
The International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) certified B20, B30 and B50 will enable, “our customers across the globe to reduce fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions to make strides towards their sustainability and climate action targets,” it said.
TFG Marine in April 2021 supplied Trafigura bareboat-chartered MT Marlin Amethyst with B50 bio marine gasoil at the Port of Amsterdam.
The company is taking part in a Joint Industry Project (JIP) with d’Amico Group, TRAFIGURA, ABS, RINA, Lloyd’s Register’s Fuel Oil Bunker Analysis Advisory Service (FOBAS), the Liberian Registry, and MAN Energy Solutions to test biofuel B30 on certain d’Amico vessels.
