A LinkedIn post deals with a piece of wow news that states we’re starting the week with some good news- for a second year in a row, we have been selected as one of the Top 30 most innovative corporates!

2023 Thetius 150 list

The 2023 Thetius 150 list recognizes some of the most innovative organizations in the maritime industry and at NAPA, there’s been no shortage of milestones. Here’s a quick round-up:

? NAPA Logbook, an electronic logbook that automated and streamlines mandatory reporting. In June 2023, the solution was chosen by Finnlines to provide NAPA’s electronic logbooks for reporting, fleet monitoring and stability management solutions on two newbuild “Superstar-class” ro-pax vessels.

? Collaborating with Damen and DNV to enhance ship design processes, using the new Open Class 3D Exchange (OCX) standard to streamline classification involvement in the early phase of a project.

? Partnering with Simwave to make critical stability training more accessible and convenient for seafarers, supporting shipping safety in a fast-evolving technology environment.

? Working with ClassNK – Nippon Kaiji Kyokai and Marubeni Corporation on a joint study which found that voyage optimization enables ships to reduce their emissions by 7.3% and maintain their CII ratings for an additional two to three years.

As the industry continues to evolve, facing new decarbonization and operational challenges, we’ll continue to innovate and push the needle further than before to enable greener, safer and smarter shipping.
