Product tanker encountered mechanical problem while transiting Bosphorus in southern direction on Dec 21, while en route from from Sulina Romania to Sevilla Spain, with cargo of sunflower oil.
Traffic blocked
Tanker had to anchor in emergency in traffic lane, blocking traffic for about an hour and a half.
She was disabled at around 0930 UTC, resumed moving under own power at around 1100 UTC, and safely completed transit. She was anchored at Atakoy anchorage in Marmara sea, understood for inspection.
