Product tanker anchored off Baniyas suffered an explosion followed by fire in one of the cargo tanks during wielding works on Apr 24.

According to Syrian authorities, three people were killed by the explosion, including two crew and one worker while welding work was going on.
The fire was extinguished the same day.
