Bulk Carrier Halts Voyage To Transfer Deceased Crew

What Happened?

Capesize bulk carrier MORANDI interrupted her voyage from Yuznhiy Ukraine, Black sea, to Qingdao China, on Oct 13, and called Bandar Aceh, western Sumatra. 

Resumed Voyage

Then transferred the body of a deceased 48-years old Filipino crew, who was suffering from acute abdominal pain and a heart attack before his death. 

The body was taken to the morgue at Bandar Aceh, the bulk carrier resumed her voyage the same day.
